Private Palace, Mayfair

Grazyna was commissioned to restore a private palace, which was originally the London residence of the 9th Duke of Marlborough. Prior to the restoration, it had been used as the head office of a major bank, and none of the original layout or features remained. The interior architecture and finishes were redesigned to meet the new owner’s requirements and expectation of scale, grandeur, quality and utility, whilst satisfying English Heritage and Westminster planners.
